Emissions Reduction Targets
In order to continue progressing toward Net Zero, Nova Healthcare Services Ltd has established the following targets. Over the next five years, we aim to reduce carbon emissions by 17.35%, which will lower emissions to 12.47 tCO2eby 2029.
- Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives:The following environmental management projects have been completed since the 2023-2024 baseline. These initiatives have resulted in a reduction of 0.697 tCO2e, representing a 17.35% reduction:
- Energy Efficiency: Transitioned to LED lighting systems to reduce energy consumption.
- Remote Work Policy: Implemented flexible working arrangements to decrease commuting and associated emissions.
- Sustainability Practices: Reduced paper usage by shifting to digital operations.
- Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives:The following environmental management projects have been completed since the 2023-2024 baseline. These initiatives have resulted in a reduction of 0.697 tCO2e, representing a 17.35% reduction:
These measures are expected to remain in effect and contribute to long-term carbon reduction.
- Future Carbon Reduction Measures: We plan to implement additional initiatives in the future, including:
- Electric Vehicle Transition: Switching to electric vehicles for any future transportation needs.
- Sustainability Certifications: Obtaining certification under standards such as ISO 14001.
- Eco-Friendly Office Supplies: Continue to purchase and use eco-friendly office supplies.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in compliance with PPN 06/21 and follows the guidance and reporting standards for Carbon Reduction Plans. The emissions data has been reported in accordance with the GHG Reporting Protocol Corporate Standard and the appropriate Government emission conversion factors. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported under SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions has been disclosed in line with the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
